Queensland Beach Challenge

The Keep Australia Beautiful Queensland Beach Challenge¹ is an exciting event and a great way for the Gold Coast community to play an active role in contributing to the condition of local beaches and foreshores.

Some ideas on how to get involved include:

• Get together with friends/family and adopt a beach
• Involve your local school
• Host a beach clean up, followed by a sausage sizzle
• Get your hands dirty with a dune planting/weeding session
• Encourage local business support - donating refreshments or prizes for Queensland Beach Challenge events
  

Promote your plans locally and get more people involved.The list is endless!

Keep Australia Beautiful will commence the call for nominations in September each year.
