CoastalCOMS utilises video content analysis against spatially oriented cameras which allows for accurate measurement of waterline position at low tide, high tide, and mean sea level, or measurements during episodic events like King Tides or large swells.

This information can be used in near real time for incident support, or analysis of archival and recorded data over time, for resource and other operational planning.
